ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A safety grip attached to bathing rails to assist in entrance to or exit from the wash area. The grip fits around the rail, attaching itself to the bar by design and surface adhesion. The grip can be removed for sterilization between uses, adapting itself to clinical or hospital uses. Interlocking ends of its circumferential wall allow for secure use while achieving non-permanently. The nature of grip gives a malleable surface which allows greater gripability to all users, but especially elderly and arthritic users, over plain smooth, metal rails.
