ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The present invention provides a water dam for securing to the top of a bathtub rim, to guard against water spill over. The dam has an upwardly, inwardly tapering configuration, with a base width, at least as great as the height of the dam, all of which contributes to an extremely positive securing of the dam against its inadvertently being removed from the bathtub rim.
