ABSTRACT A collapsible seat apparatus for mounting on a wall includes a seat portion and a cabinet adapted for mounting on the wall. Pivot pins are provided to pivotally connect a rear end of the seat portion to the cabinet. Sets of engaging corrugations are provided to prevent pivotal movement of the seat portion relative to the cabinet until a suitable force is applied to the seat portion by the user. Sets of corrugations on the seat portion are biased by flexible strips towards respective cooperating sets on the cabinet. Legs are pivotally connected to the front end of the seat portion and they can be pivoted from a storage position adjacent the seat portion to a support position where the legs extend perpendicularly from the seat portion. A second embodiment of the seat has legs at both the front and rear end of the seat portion.
