A B S T R A C T THIS invention relates to a battery terminal particularly for batteries commonly used in motor vehicles and having terminals in the form of cylindrical lugs; more particularly the battery terminal is of the type having a cap which fits over a battery lug and has a slideable contact piece therein which is spring biased toward the lug and is connected to an electrical cable.
