IMPROVED BATTERY CASE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved battery case is disclosed comprising an upper battery case position interconnected to a lower battery case portion. A corner support having a projection extends upwardly from each of the corners of the upper battery case portion. The projections interlock with recesses disposed in a bottom wall of the lower battery case portion of an adjacent battery enabling the interlocked stacking of a plurality of batteries. The upper battery case portion receives a carrying handle which is movable between a retracted position and an extended carrying position. Positive and negative SAE post terminals extend from the upper battery case portion adjacent the opposed ends thereof. Positive and negative threaded terminal are also disposed on one of the upper and lower battery case portions. Fastening devices extend from each of the sides and from each of the ends of the lower battery case portion for securing the battery case to an automobile or a truck.
