-10- BATTERY WARMER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A battery blanket of the type comprising an outer cover, an heating element adjacent one surface of the outer cover and an insulating material between the heating element and the other surface of the outer cover is modified by the provision of an insulating material which has an R value greater than 2.0 and an uncompressed thickness less than 0.6 inches. This enables an improved blanket for fitting in reduced areas and for better folding of the blanket to follow the contours of the battery.
