An enclosed metal container, consisting one or more pieces of wood, wood chips or sawdust, which container incorporates one or more holes for releasing of the smoke generated by the wood, burning inside of the said container. The BBQ Smoker, referred to also as a container, should be placed inside of the Bar-B-Q or a grill, on either the heat distributor such as lava rocks, or on the grill. During the cooking process, the temperature of the Bar-B-Q causes the wood inside of the BBQ Smoker to burn. Since there are only small holes in the embodiment of a metal container, the wood is burning slowly generating only a smock, and no fire. The smock from burning of selected types of wood enhances the taste and the aroma of grilled meats and other foods prepared using BBQ Smoker.
