A clip (20) for attachement to the end of a main beam (36) for a grid in a suspended ceiling. The beam has an inverted T cross section. The clip engages an identical clip (20') on the end of another main beam (36') to form an end to end connection. The clip (20) has a tongue (24) and channel (52) that engages with a tongue (24') and channel (52') in the other clip (20') of the connection.
