In an arrangement for mounting an elevator machine in a building, a mounting beam is fixed to the building structure, either at the top of the elevator shaft, or within a machine room above the elevator shaft. The elevator machine is mounted below, and suspended from, the mounting beam in such a manner that the centre of gravity of the machine, and the centroid of application of the rope forces to the traction sheave of the machine, are located at or near the neutral axis of the beam.
La présente invention se rapporte à un système pour le montage d'un ascenseur à l'intérieur d'un bâtiment; une poutre de montage est fixée à la structure du bâtiment, soit au sommet du puits d'ascenseur, soit à l'intérieur de la salle technique, située au-dessus du puits d'ascenseur. L'ascenseur est suspendu à la poutre de montage de telle sorte que le centre de gravité de l'ascenseur ainsi que le centre géométrique des forces exercées par les câbles de traction sur la poulie se trouvent dans l'axe neutre de la poutre ou près de celui-ci.
