- 20 - BEARING AND RACE REMOVER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A bearing and race remover particularly applicable to removing bearing and races from the tail rotor blades of a helicopter. An expandable conical head is rotatably mounted on a shaft. A fixed conical head is mounted within the expandable head which is brought into contact with the bushing. An impact is created between the expandable head and the bushing by rapid movement of a hammer against a handle which transmits the impact through the fixed conical head to the expandable conical head and, thereafter, to the bushing which is of a nature such that the bushing is removed.
