The invention relates to a bearing assembly for receiving axial loads. Said assembly comprises several axial anti-friction bearings arranged one behind the other, each comprising a housing washer (1.1, 1.2, 1.3), a shaft washer (2.1, 2.2) and sets of anti-friction bearings (3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4) that are provided between said washers. The shaft washers (2.1, 2.2) and the housing washers (1.1, 1.2, 1.3) are axially supported by respective spacer rings (5.1, 4.1, 4.2) that are located between said washers. The invention is characterised in that the housing washers (1.1, 1.2, 1.3) and the shaft washers (2.1, 2.2) exhibit an identical axial strength over their entire radial extension in the region of the anti-friction bearings (3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4) and that the inner circumference of at least one of the shaft washers (2.1, 2.2) is equipped with an annular cavity (6) that is open towards the interior of the bearing assembly in a radial direction.
L'invention concerne un palier servant à absorber des contraintes axiales, comprenant plusieurs roulements axiaux, qui sont placés les uns derrière des autres et qui présentent chacun une rondelle de carter (1.1, 1.2, 1.3), une rondelle d'arbre (2.1, 2.2) ainsi que des ensembles de corps de roulement (3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4) intercalés entre ces rondelles. Les rondelles d'arbre (2.1, 2.2) et les rondelles de carter (1.1, 1.2, 1.3) sont supportées axialement par l'intermédiaire de bagues d'écartement (5.1, 4.1, 4.2) intercalées entre les rondelles. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que les rondelles de carter (1.1, 1.2, 1.3) et les rondelles d'arbre (2.1, 2.2) présentent, au niveau des ensembles de corps de roulement (3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4), une épaisseur axiale identique sur l'ensemble de leur longueur radiale, et en ce qu'une des rondelles d'arbre (2.1, 2.2) présente, sur sa périphérie intérieure, un espace libre (6) annulaire, ouvert vers l'intérieur dans le sens radial.
