Bearing assembly (1) for supporting a transmission shaft (2) in a housing (3), comprising an axially non-locating bearing (5) and a pair of angular contact bearings (7,8) which locate the shaft (2) against movement in axial direction (AA'), whereby the shaft (2) is subjected to radial and/or axial load forces (Frad,Fax), characterised in that the housing (2) is adapted in order to obtain the desired stiffness for each of the two angular contact bearings (7,8), whereby a load sharing between said two bearings (7,8) is induced.
L'invention concerne un montage à roulement (1) permettant de soutenir un arbre de transmission (2) dans un logement (3). Ledit montage comprend un roulement sans localisation axiale (5) et une paire de roulements de contact angulaire (7, 8) qui localisent l'arbre (2) contre le mouvement dans une direction axiale (AA'), ledit arbre (2) étant soumis à des forces de charge axiales et/ou radiales (Frad,Fax). Ce montage à roulement est caractérisé en ce que le logement (2) est conçu pour obtenir la rigidité souhaitée pour chacun des deux roulements de contact angulaire (7, 8), ce qui permet d'induire un partage de charges entre les deux roulements (7, 8).
