ABSTRACT There is disclosed herein a bearing for high- precision transport spindles used in machines for electrical reproduction technology, machine tools, measuring installations and the like, wherein axial movement due to bearing tolerances are eliminated by the bearing device of this invention. The radial and axial bearing of the spindle are decoupled from one another by means of the bearing device, thereby eliminating the axial dislocation errors.
