BEARING SURFACE FOR THIN-WALLED TUBE Abstract of the Disclosure A bearing surface for a hollow link of rectangular cross section including a pair of replaceable axially aligned bushings which are flared and press-fitted into a pair of seats swaged in opposite sidewalls of the link. The outermost ends of the bushings are substantially flush with the corresponding sidewalls. The link is sandwiched between a pair of plates and a pivot pin extends through the bushings and is connected to the plates to maintain the plates closely adjacent the link to prevent sidesway. The bushings may be easily replaced and eliminate need for welded bushings or additional wear bushings.
