A B S T R A C T The specification relates to bearings of the type used as locomotive suspension bearings wherein lubrication is supplied by a lubricator and wherein it is important to conserve the supply of lubricant and provide sufficient lubricant to accommodate the thrust loads. The present invention provides an arrangement wherein excess lubricant is restricted in its flow outwardly through the ends of the bearing while a limited amount is moved to a thrust load flange, this being accomplished by the use of a lubricant collection area of the bearing and means for moving the lubricant from such area to the flange load area.
