Abstract of the Disclosure The bed and crib combination includes a bed having a head board and a foot board with side frame members and a first mattress support extending between the head board and foot board. An upstanding cabinet can be placed at the end of the bed such that the outer wall of the cabinet is co-extensive with the foot board of the bed, and the cabinet rests on the side frame members. A head board extension for forming a crib is provided along with crib guard rails extending between the cabinet wall and the head board, and a crib mattress support is provided with detach- able fastening means for mounting the crib mattress support at a raised position.
