The invention relates to the base of a bed comprising two parallel elastic longitudinal bars (1) arranged at a distance from each other, and several grate-shaped cross slats (2). The ends of these cross slats (2) are pushed into pockets (3) which are fitted on the longitudinal bars (1), perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction. Each longitudinal bar (1) has at least one fastening band (52) which is fastened perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction and in the direction of the other longitudinal bar. The neighbouring cross slat (2) has a button (20) for attaching the fastening band (52) to the cross slat (2). This structure guarantees stable and non-ageing fastening of the cross slats (2) to the longitudinal bars (1) with minimal means. It is also easy to assemble.

L'invention concerne une base de lit comportant deux longerons (1) élastiques disposés à distance et parallèlement l'un à l'autre et plusieurs lattes transversales (2) constituant un sommier, des poches dans lesquelles on insère les extrémités des lattes transversales (2) étant disposées sur les longerons (1) perpendiculairement au sens longitudinal. Au moins une bande de fixation (52) est montée sur chaque longeron (1) perpendiculairement au sens longitudinal et en direction de l'autre longeron, un bouton de fixation (20) pour fixer la bande de fixation (52) à la latte transversale (2) se trouvant sur la latte transversale (2) voisine. Cette réalisation garantit, avec des moyens minimaux, une fixation stable et résistante au vieillissement des lattes transversales (2) et des longerons (1) les uns par rapport aux autres. Elle est, en outre, de montage facile.
