ABSTRACT A bed frame with incorporated guard rails to be used to prevent a person to fall from the bed. The bed frame comprises a pair of longitudinal side members and cross members. Instead of having an independent element fixed to bed, the longitudinal members are shaped to form a guard rail integral to the frame. The cross members may be directly attached to the guard rails by curving their ends. The cross members at the ends of the bed can also be shaped in guard rails to be a footboard or a headboard. The bed frame according to the invention is very convenient to a bunk bed.
