A bed sheet, comprising in combination, a top panel for covering a mattress top, a surrounding side panel adapted to surround the side edges of the mattress, the top panel removably attachable to the side panel to form a bed sheet for the mattress wherein in use, the top panel can be detached and removed from the side panel when the bed sheet is covering the mattress whereby the side panels are left in position on the side edges of the mattress.

L'invention concerne un drap de lit comprenant, en combinaison, un panneau supérieur destiné à recouvrir le dessus d'un matelas, un panneau latéral périphérique adapté pour entourer les bords latéraux du matelas, le panneau supérieur pouvant être fixé de manière amovible au panneau latéral afin de former un drap de lit pour le matelas. Lors de l'utilisation, ledit panneau supérieur peut être détaché et enlevé du panneau latéral lorsque le drap de lit recouvre le matelas, grâce à quoi les panneaux latéraux sont maintenus en position sur les bords latéraux du matelas.
