An apparatus comprising a vibrating unit fastened to a bi-planar member having an L shaped cross section and mounting means for supporting the vibrating unit against a long side of a conventional bed is disclosed. In the preferred embodiment the bi-planar member having an L shaped cross section which has the vibrating unit fastened thereto is connected to a second bi- planar member by a strap which may be adjusted for length. The vibrating unit is positioned on one side of the box springs of a bed. The strap extends between the mattress and box springs across the bed to the second L shaped member. In use, a person lays on the bed and sets a timer controlling an automatic shut off on the vibrating unit. The person's lower back and legs are massaged concurrently.
