The invention concerns a sanitary device or bedpan, for receiving bedridden patients' evacuations, characterised in that it comprises a front part or "plate" (1) arranged horizontally in front of an oblique support plane of the bedpan (2) and forming with it an angle of 120· to 160· open above and in front at the transverse joint (3) in the longitudinal plane. Such an arrangement enables the bedpan to be slid horizontally under the patient's breech without his having to be raised.
Dispositif sanitaire ou bassin de lit, destiné à recueillir les déjections des malades alités, caractérisé par une partie avant ou "pelle" (1) disposée horizontalement en avant du plan de support oblique du bassin (2) et formant un angle ouvert en haut et en avant de 120~ à 160~ avec lui au niveau de sa jointure transversale (3), et ce, dans un plan longitudinal. Ceci permet de glisser le bassin de lit horizontalement sous le siège du malade sans que celui-ci ait à se soulever.
