A quick hitch-unhitch attachment for mounting a snow working implement on a vehicle, comprising a vehicle mount attachment (VMA) frame secured to the vehicle, has a pair of spaced sockets which are positioned below and behind the vehicle bumper when mounted on the vehicle. A first pair of reaction bearing surfaces are aligned with and to the rear of the spaced sockets and a transverse latch bar means extends transversely of the sockets. An intermediate support frame has a rearward end with a pair of latching arms extending in a rearward direction and in general alignment with the sockets, respectively. Each latching arm has a further reaction bearing surface for bearing against respective ones of the first pair of reaction bearing surfaces. A support frame has a forward end attached to the snow working implement and a rearward end pivotally connected to the intermediate frame for rotation about a horizontal axis. A latching mechanism on said intermediate support frame for positioning a latch member rearwardly of the transverse latch bar means. A lift mechanism on the intermediate support frame pivots the support frame about the horizontal axis and lifts the support frame and working implement off the ground such that the weight thereof is borne by the reason bearing surfaces and the pair of spaced socket means. A friction slide plate maintains the angular relationship between the intermediate frame and the support frame when the intermediate support frame is not coupled to the VMA frame.
La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif permettant l'accouplement et le désaccouplement rapide d'un accessoire de déneigement à un véhicule; le dispositif en question comporte une structure de montage au véhicule (SMV) fixée au véhicule et comportant une paire de manchons espacés et positionnés en-dessous et derrière le pare-chocs du véhicule auquel la structure est fixée. Une première paire de surfaces d'appui de réaction disposées en alignement et à l'arrière des manchons espacés sont reliées par une barre transversale. La partie arrière d'un cadre de support intermédiaire comporte une paire de bras de verrouillage faisant saillie vers l'arrière et respectivement alignés avec les manchons. Chacun des bras de verrouillage comporte une surface d'appui de réaction supplémentaire destinée à prendre appui sur l'une et l'autre surfaces de la première paire de surfaces d'appui de réaction. Une structure de support comporte une partie avant destinée à retenir l'accessoire de déneigement et une partie arrière raccordée à un cadre de montage intermédiaire qui autorise un mouvement de rotation sur un axe horizontal. Un mécanisme de verrouillage monté sur le cadre de montage intermédiaire permet le verrouillage à la partie arrière de la barre transversale. Un mécanisme de levage monté sur le cadre de support intermédiaire permet de relever et de faire pivoter la structure de montage selon un axe horizontal pour ainsi transférer le poids de l'accessoire re de déneigement aux manchons de support. Une plaque de friction assure le maintien du rapport angulaire entre le cadre intermédiaire et la structure de support lorsque le cadre intermédiaire n'est pas accouplé à la structure de montage au véhicule (SMV).
