A computerized system consisting of 10 interfacing modules is disclosed capable of detecting common thinking errors known as fallacies. An operator enters sentences referencing their own beliefs, or someone else's. Utilizing analysis options through which further modules are accessed, the system scans entry data searching for substrings associated with specific fallacies. Operators are frequently asked yes or no questions to check further for these fallacies. Counters in scanning routines limit program redundancy and records each of the scanning modules to keep track of detected fallacies so that results can be summarized and evaluated.
