The invention relates to a cable end connection for fastening a cable end in an elevator system and to a method for fastening a supporting cable in an elevator system, whereby the supporting cable (6) is retained in a wedge compartment (11) by means of a wedge (12). The invention is characterized in that at least one wedge compartment area (15, 16) facing the wedge (12) is provided with a surface roughness different from the remaining surface of the wedge compartment (11). Advantageously, a wedge compartment friction surface (15) which is closer to the loose strand (7) of the supporting cable (6) is provided with a surface roughness that is higher than that of the remaining surface of the wedge compartment (11) or a wedge compartment sliding surface (16) which is closer to the carrying strand (8) of the supporting cable (6) is provided with a reduced surface roughness as compared to the remaining surface of the wedge compartment (11).
La présente invention a trait à un raccordement d'extrémité de câble pour la fixation de l'extrémité d'un câble de support dans un système d'ascenseur et un procédé de fixation de l'extrémité d'un câble de support dans un système d'ascenseur, selon lequel le câble de support (6) est retenu dans un compartiment de coin (11) au moyen d'un coin (12). L'invention se caractérise en ce qu'au moins une zone de compartiment de coin (15, 16) tournée vers le coin (12) est dotée d'une rugosité de surface différente du reste du compartiment de coin (11). Avantageusement, une surface de frottement de compartiment de coin (15) qui est plus proche du brin libre (7) du câble de support (5) est dotée d'une rugosité de surface qui est supérieure à celle du la surface restante du compartiment de coin (11) ou une surface glissante de compartiment de coin (16) qui est plus proche du brin porteur 88) du câble de support (6) est dotée d'une rugosité de surface réduite comparée à la surface restante du compartiment de coin (11).
