A belt installation tool (100) for installing a belt without rotating the pulley (P) or the tool about a pulley axis of rotation. The tool comprises a ramp (11) that engages a pulley flange (F). The ramp (11) comprises a connecting member for connecting the ramp (11) to the flange (F). After the ramp is connected to a pulley flange a belt is loosely engaged with the ramp. A first lever arm (10) connected to the ramp is used to pry the ramp and belt outward by pivoting about the first connecting member until a second connecting member is engaged with the pulley flange. The ramp further comprises a member for laterally urging the belt. Once the ramp is fixed on the pulley flange a second lever arm (20), connected at a pivot point, urges the belt laterally onto the pulley. The second lever arm (20) is moveable in a direction normal to the movement of the first lever arm, thereby laterally urging the belt onto a pulley.
La présente invention concerne un outil d'installation de courroie (100) destinée à installer une courroie sans faire tourner la poulie (P) ou un outil autour d'un axe de rotation de la poulie. Cet outil comprend une rampe (11) qui entre en contact avec une joue de poulie (F.). Cette rampe (11) comprend un élément de connexions destinée à connecter la rampe (11) à la joue (F).
