A woven structure of a belt form which is woven by the use of a non-heat fusible synthetic fiber and a heat fusible synthetic fiber containing, in the surface thereof, a heat fusible component having a softening point lower by 30~C or more than that of the non-heat fusible synthetic fiber, wherein the heat fusible synthetic fiber is used in at least a part of the wefts constituting the woven structure and is heat-treated at a temperature of a softening point of the heat fusible component or higher, and as a result, a plurality of the heat fusible synthetic fibers, or the heat fusible synthetic fiber and the non-heat fusible synthetic fiber are fused and fixed to each other. The woven structure allows the production of a woven structure of a belt form, such as a webbing for a sheet belt, which can retain the stiffness in the weft direction over a long period of time even when it is repeatedly used, and thus is less prone to twisting, and further is soft and easy to handle, with good efficiency.
La présente invention concerne une structure tissée d'une forme de courroie, qui est tissée en utilisant une fibre synthétique non thermofusible et une fibre synthétique thermofusible contenant dans sa surface un composant thermofusible dont le point de ramollissement est inférieur d'au moins 30 °C à celui de la fibre synthétique non thermofusible. La fibre synthétique thermofusible est utilisée dans au moins une partie des trames constituant la structure tissée et est traitée thermiquement à la température du point de ramollissement du composant thermofusible, ou à une température supérieure, ce qui entraîne la fusion et la fixation entre elles d'une pluralité des fibres synthétiques thermofusibles ou de la fibre synthétique thermofusible et de la fibre synthétique non thermofusible. La structure tissée de l'invention permet de fabriquer, avec une bonne efficacité, une structure tissée d'une forme de courroie, telle qu'une sangle pour une ceinture de sécurité, capable de conserver sa rigidité dans la direction de la trame pendant une longue période même si elle est utilisée de manière répétée et qui est ainsi moins sujette aux torsions et en outre souple et facile à manipuler.
