A belt system for carrying a medical syringe required in case of allergic or asthmatic reactions includes an adjustable belt and a housing for the syringe. The housing is attached to the belt and is sufficiently rigid to protect the syringe. The housing may include an elongate, rigid cylindrical tube having an open end. The open end of the tube is covered by a removable cap designed to provide easy access to a syringe inside the tube. The belt system is designed to be discrete, comfortable, water and dirt resistant, and rugged.
