A novel improved combination is provided herein of a support having a mounting surface, a single bolt, and a belt tensioner having a housing which is secured to the support in abutting relation to the mounting surface thereof by the single bolt that is carried by the housing and the support. The support has an opening interrupting the mounting surface in offset relation to the bolt. The housing has a certain removable pin extending therefrom which is received in the opening of the support to orient the tensioner relative to the support and to prevent rotation of the housing on the bolt. The improvement which is provided is of the housing having a plurality of mounting arrangements, each arrangement being for having a removable pin attached thereto for being received in an opening of a support. The certain removable pin is attached to one of the mounting arrangements.
