ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A conveyor of the belt-type in which an endless band of rubber or like yieldable material is displaced along a clos- ed path while being supported along opposite longitudinal edges of the belt. According to the invention, these edges are for- med with support ribs having exclusively planar support sur- faces in their orientations in which they are supportingly en- gaged by the rollers and the rollers which support these ribs are cylindrical. The ribs may be attached to the edges of the belt or formed unitarily therewith.
