The invention relates to a bending machine for flat materials, comprising a machine frame, a lower and an upper cheek mounted on the machine frame by means of which the flat material can be fixed, and a device for displacing a bending tool by means of which a bending tool can be displaced. The aim of the invention is to improve said bending machine in such a way that the movements of the bending tool can be carried out with technically simple means and in a precise manner. To this end the bending tool has a protruding bending part with a curved pressure application surface for exerting pressure to one side of the flat material and the bending tool can be displaced by the bending tool displacement device between an initial bending position and a final bending position along a trajectory around the respective bending edge. Said edge is set in a defined manner in such a way that the curved pressure application surface and the flat material side subjected to a pressure move in relation to each other such that they execute a substantially non-sliding rolling motion.
L'invention concerne une cintreuse pour matériau plat, comprenant un bâti de machine, une joue inférieure et une joue supérieure placées sur le bâti et permettant de fixer le matériau plat, ainsi qu'une unité de déplacement d'outil de cintrage. L'invention vise à améliorer cette cintreuse de sorte que les mouvements de l'outil de cintrage puissent être effectués avec des moyens techniquement simples, et de sorte que ledit outil puisse effectuer des mouvements de cintrage précis. A cet effet, l'outil de cintrage présente une partie saillante de cintrage comportant une surface de compression galbée pour solliciter un côté du matériau plat. De plus, l'outil de cintrage peut être déplacé par l'unité de déplacement entre une position initiale de cintrage et une position finale de cintrage sur une trajectoire entourant l'arête de cintrage respective qui est prédéterminée de manière définie de sorte que la surface de compression galbée et le côté sollicité du matériau plat puissent se déplacer l'un par rapport l'autre de façon à effectuer un mouvement de roulement sensiblement sans glissement.
