The invention relates to a bending machine for flat material, comprising a machine frame having lower and upper clamping tools which are mounted on the machine frame and by means of which the flat material can be fixed in a clamping plane, and a device for displacing a bending tool by means of which a bending tool support having a bending tool for bending the flat material can be displaced about a bending edge in relation to the clamping plane into a plurality of bending positions. The aim of the invention is to improve said bending machine in such a way that it has a compact structure and allows for the movements of the bending tool to be carried out with technically simple means. To this end the machine frame is laterally open on at least one of its transverse sides so as to permit the introduction of flat material in the longitudinal direction of the bending edge and between the upper and lower cheek; the bending tool can be displaced at right angles to the clamping plane such that it passes through the different bending positions; and the bending tool support remains exclusively on that side of the clamping plane on which an initial bending position of the bending tool is situated.
L'invention concerne une cintreuse pour matériau plat, comprenant un bâti de machine présentant un outil inférieur et un outil supérieur de serrage placés sur le bâti, permettant de fixer le matériau plat dans un plan de serrage, ainsi qu'une unité de déplacement d'outil de cintrage permettant de déplacer dans une pluralité de positions de cintrage un porte-outil de cintrage comportant un outil de cintrage qui sert à cintrer le matériau plat autour d'une arête de cintrage par rapport au plan de serrage. L'invention vise à améliorer cette cintreuse de sorte que, tout en étant conçue de manière compacte, elle permette d'effectuer les mouvements de l'outil de cintrage avec des moyens techniquement simples. A cet effet, le bâti de machine est ouvert sur les côtés, au niveau d'au moins un de ses côtés transversaux pour l'introduction du matériau plat dans le sens longitudinal de l'arête de cintrage et entre la joue supérieure et la joue inférieure. De plus, l'outil de cintrage peut être déplacé transversalement au plan de serrage pour passer par les différentes positions de cintrage, et le porte-outil de cintrage reste exclusivement sur le côté du plan de serrage où se trouve la position initiale de cintrage de l'outil de cintrage.
