S. Ege-9 (Revision) Abstract of the Disclosure The present invention relates to a bending strain relief device with adjustable stiffness to be used in connection with cables or pipes. The stiffness of the device is made adjustable by having an expandable body arranged between the cable or pipe and a stiffening rod arrangement. When inflated, the expandable body causes increased friction between the stiffening rod layers and the relief may be locked in any desired position. TNT: km November 11, 1981
