ABSTRACT A method is disclosed for beneficiating a fluor- spar concentrate containing apatite as a gangue mineral, which includes further concentrating the fluorspar by a froth flotation process wherein the apatite is collected and floated with a cationic reagent in an acid flotation circuit and the fluorspar is depressed with fluoride ions.
