Methods for liberating organic carbonaceous products from mineral matrices such as oil shale and the products liberated by the present methods inter alia, the invention in a preferred embodiment subjects oil shale to resonance disintegration including inter alia rapid pressure and directional changes to essentially instantaneously vary forces acting thereon. Oil shale processed by non-impact processing according to the invention liberates kerogen from the mineral matrix to permit subsequent conversion to shale oil or other utilization.

L'invention concerne des procédés pour libérer des produits carbonés organiques à partir de matrices minérales tels que du schiste bitumeux et les produits libérés par lesdits procédés correspondants. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention, le schiste bitumeux est soumis à une désintégration par résonance notamment par une pression rapide et des modifications directionnelles, ce qui permet la variation instantanée des forces actives. Le schiste bitumeux traité par traitement sans impact libère du kérogène à partir de la matrice minérale, ce qui permet une conversion de ce dernier en schiste bitumeux ou une toute autre utilisation.
