ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention provides a bent axis pump or motor which has improved transfer passages from the port block to the housing which do not require complex seals, and which are such as to reduce port block oscillation. The port block of the device is movable, thereby to vary the pump or motor displacement, and fluid flow from the housing to and from the operating cylinders to the port block is effected by means of transfer sleeves which extend in leak-proof relation between the port block and the housing.
