ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides benzaminoethylphenoxy- cyclohexylacetic acid derivatives having the formula Image wherein R1 represents hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a lower alkyl group or a lower alkoxy group; n is ; or 2; and R2 represents hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group which may be substituted by a phenyl group, a lower alkoxycarbonyl group, a 3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexyloxycarbonyl group or a heterocyclic group; the hexadecyl group; a phenyl group which may be substi- tuted by a lower akkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a lower al- koxycarbonyl group or a halogen atom; a cyclohexyl group or ?- [4-(4-chlorobenzaminoethyl)phenoxy]-.alpha.-cyclohexylacethoxycyclo hexyl group which are useful in antihyperlipidemic agents as well as compositions containing them.
