Compounds of general formula (I) or salts thereof, which exhibit CCR5 antagonism and exert preventive and therapeutic effects against HIV infections: wherein R1 is a five- or six-membered aromatic ring which bears a substituent represented by the general formula: R-Z1-X-Z2- (wherein R is hydrogen or optionally substituted hydrocarbyl; X is optionally substituted alkylene; and Z1 and Z2 are each a heteroatom) and may be further substituted, with R being optionally bonded to the aromatic ring to form another ring; Y is optionally substituted imino; and R2 and R3 are each optionally substituted aliphatic hydrocarbyl or an optionally substituted hetero-alicyclic group.

Cette invention concerne des composés qui correspondent à la formule générale (I) où R?1¿ représente un anneau aromatique à 5 ou 6 membres comportant un substituant qui correspond à la formule R-Z?1¿-X-Z?2¿ dans laquelle R représente hydrogène ou un hydrocarbyle éventuellement substitué, X représente alkylène éventuellement substitué, tandis que Z?1¿ et Z?2¿ représentent chacun un hétéroatome. R?1¿ peut encore être substitué, R étant éventuellement lié à l'anneau aromatique de manière à former un autre anneau. Y représente un imino éventuellement substitué, tandis que R?2¿ et R?3¿ représentent chacun un hydrocarbyle aliphatique éventuellement substitué ou un groupe hétéro-alicyclique éventuellement substitué. Cette invention concerne également des sels de ces composés qui présentent un antagonisme CCR5, et ont des effets thérapeutiques et préventifs contre les infections par le VIH.
