The present invention is related to the use of benzazole derivatives of formula (I) for the treatment and/or prevention of scleroderma and its therapeutic implications selected in the group consisting of systemic sclerosis, scleroderma-like disoders, sine scleroderma, liver cirrhosis, interstitial pulmonary fibrosis, Dupuytren's contracture, keloid and other scarring/wound healing abnormalities, postoperative adhesions and reactive fibrosis, as well as chronic heart failure, in particular after myocardial infarction.
L'invention concerne l'utilisation de dérivés de benzazole de formule (I) pour le traitement et/ou la prévention de sclérodermie, et ses implications thérapeutiques sélectionnées dans le groupe comportant la sclérose systémique, des troubles de type sclérodermie, sclérodermie sans manifestations cutanées (<i>sine scleroderma</i>), la cirrhose du foie, la fibrose pulmonaire interstitielle, la contracture de Dupuytren, des anormalités de guérison de blessure/plaie de chéloïde, la fibrose réactive et des adhésions postopératoires, ainsi qu'une insuffisance respiratoire chronique, en particulier après un infarctus du myocarde.
