The present invention relates to novel benzenesulfonanilide compounds of the formulae I and I' and physiologically tolerated acid addition salts and the N-oxides thereof. The compounds possess valuable therapeutic properties and are particularly suitable, for treating diseases that respond to modulation of the serotonin 5- HT6 receptor. wherein R1 is hydrogen or methyl R2 is hydrogen or methyl R3 hydrogen, fluorine C1-C2 alkoxy or fluorinated C1-C2 alkoxy; R is hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl or fluorinated C1-C4 alkyl; R5 is hydrogen, fluorine, C1-C2 alkyl, fluorinated C1-C2 alkyl, C1-C2 alkoxy or fluorinated C1-C2 alkoxy; and R is hydrogen, fluorine or chlorine.
La présente invention concerne des composés de benzènesulfonanilide inédits de formule I et I', ainsi que leurs N-oxydes et leurs sels d'addition acides bien tolérés d'un point de vue physiologique. Lesdits composés présentent des propriétés thérapeutiques intéressantes et conviennent particulièrement bien au traitement de maladies répondant à la modulation du récepteur sérotoninergique 5-HT6. Formules I et I' dans lesquelles R1 représente de l'hydrogène ou un groupe méthyle, R2 de l'hydrogène ou un groupe méthyle, R3 de l'hydrogène, du fluor, un groupe alkyle en C1-C2 ou un groupe alcoxy fluoré en C1-C2 ; R4 représente de l'hydrogène, un groupe alkyle en C1-C4 ou un groupe alkyle fluoré en C1-C4 ; R5 représente de l'hydrogène, du fluor, un groupe alkyle en C1-C2, un groupe alkyle fluoré en C1-C2, un groupe alcoxy en C1-C2 ou un groupe alcoxy fluoré en C1-C2 ; et R6 représente de l'hydrogène, du fluor ou du chlore.
