Benzimidazole derivatives having general formula (1), wherein R1 and R2 are a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl radical, an OR4 radical, a lower fluoroalkyl radical or a halogen atom; R3 is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl radical, a halogen, a hy- droxyl or a lower alkoxy radical having 1-6 carbon atours; R4 is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl radical, a benzyl radical or a (II) radical, PO3H, SO3H or an aminoacid residue; R7 is a lower alkyl radical, a lower alkoxy radical having 1-6 carbon at- ours, a -(CH2)n-COOH radical where n = 1-6, or the radical (III), where r' and r" are a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl rad- ical, or form, together with the nitrogen atom, a 5 or 6-membered heterocyclic ring optionally interrupted by a heteroatom; R5 and R6 are different and represent the OR8 radical or a mono or polycyclic cycloalkyl radical having 5-12 carbon atoms bound to the phenyl core by a tertiary carbon; R8 is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl radical, an acyl radical having 2-7 car- bon atours, a benzyl radical optionally substituted by one or more halogen atours, or a benzoyl radical; and salts of said compounds obtained by adding a pharmaceutically acceptable acid or base. Said compounds may be used therapeutically, in particular in relation to inflammatory and/or immunoallergic conditions, and cosmetically to provide body and hair care. Dérivés du benzimidazole. Ces dérivés répandent à la formule générale: (I), dans laquelle R1 et R2 représen- tent un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle inférieur, un radical OR4, un radical fluoroalkyle inférieur ou un atome d'ha- logène, R3 représente un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle inférieur, un halogène, un hydroxyle ou un radical alcoxy in- férieur ayant de 1 à 6 atomes de carbone, R4 représente un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle inférieur, un radical benzyle ou un radical (II), PO3H, SO3H ou un reste d'acide aminé, R7 représente un radical alkyle inférieur, un radical al- coxy inférieur ayant de 1 à 6 atomes de carbone, le radical -(CH1)n-COOH, n = 1 à 6, ou le radical (111), r' et r" représen- tant un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle inférieur, ou r' et r" pris ensemble forment avec l'atome d'azote, un hétérocyle à 5 ou 6 chaînons éventuellement interrompus par un hétéroatome, R5 et R6, différents, représentent le radical OR8 ou un radical cycloalkyle mono au polycyclique ayant de 5 à 12 atomes de carbone, lié au noyau phényle par un carbone tertiaire; R8 représente un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle inférieur, un radical acyle ayant de 2 à 7 atomes de carbone, un radi- cal benzyle éventuellement substitué par un ou plusieurs atomes d'halogène ou le radical benzoyle, et les sels desdits compo- sés obtenus par addition d'un acide ou d'une base pharmaceutiquement acceptable. Utilisation en thérapeutique, en particu- lier à l'égard des états inflammatoires et/ou immunoallergiques et en cosmétique dans l'hygiène corporelle et capillaire.
