Abstract Benzimidazoles The invention relates to benzimidazoles of formula I Image (I) (wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are as defined in any one of claims 1 to 5) and the 1-, 3-isomer mixtures, the quaternary N-alkyl salts and the salts thereof. The new compounds have valuable pharmacological properties, particularly an angiotensin-antagonistic activity, preferably angiotensin-II-antagonistic activities.
