- 44 - ABSTRACT BENZOFURAN DERIVATIVES The invention provides compounds of the general formula (I): Image (I) or a physiologically acceptable salt or solvate thereof in which Het represents an N-linked imidazolyl group of the formula Image ; R1 represents an ethyl or n-propyl group; R2 represents a chlorine atom or a methyl or ethyl group; and R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl or ethyl group. The compounds may be used in the treatment or prophylaxis of hypertension and diseases associated with cognitive disorders.
