This invention relates to benzofuran derivatives, to processes for their preparation, to pharmaceutical compositions con- taining them and to their medical use, in particular to compounds and compositions of use in the treatment of migraine. In parti- cular, the invention provides a compound of formula (I), wherein R1 is -CH2CONR3R4; R2 is -CH2CH2NR5R6; R3 and R4, together with the N-atom to which they are attached form a saturated 4- to 7-membered ring of the formula (II) where Z is a group of formula -CR7CR8-, -O- or -NR9-; R5 and R6, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen or C1-3 alkyl; R7 and R8, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen, hydroxy or C1-3alkoxy; R9 is -SO2R10, -COR10 or -COOR10; R10 is C1-3alkyl; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and solvates thereof.
