ABSTRACT Chemical compounds are provided that are novel substituted benzoselenino[4,3,2-cd]indazoles, as well as methods for their production, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds, and methods of treatment using the compounds, and methods of treatment using the compounds in dosage form. Compounds of the invention have pharmacological properties and are useful antibacterial agents, antifungal agents, and antitumor agents. The novel compounds have the general formula: Image wherein R2 to R10 are as defined in the disclosure and claims.
