Abstract BENZOTHIAZEPINE DERIVATIVES Vasodilating activity is exhibited by new compounds having the formula Image , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof wherein n is 2 or 3; X is oxygen or sulfur; R1 and R2 are each independently hydrogen alkyl, cycloalkyl, or allyl, or R1 and R2 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached are pyrrolidinyl, piperidinyl, or morpholinyl; R3 is alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, trifluoro- methyl, or nitro; R4 is hydrogen, halogen, trifluoromethyl, or nitro; and R5 and R6 are each independently alkyl or cycloalkyl or R5 and R6 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached are pyrrolidinyl, piperidinyl, or morpholinyl.
