Disclosed are a benzothiazolesulfonamide derivative represent- ed by the formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addi- tion salt thereof (see fig. I) (I) wherein A represents a lower alkylene group which is unsubstituted or substituted; R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; each of R2 and R3 independ- ently represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, or R2 and R3 are bonded to each other to form a lower alkylene group which is unsubstituted or substituted; and R4 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, an amidino group, or a phenyl-substituted lower alkyl group, wherein the lower alkyl group is substituted or unsubsti- tuted, and the phenyl group is unsubstituted or substi- tuted with a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a halogen atom or a methylenedioxy group; a method for preparing the same; and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same. Each of the benzothiazolsulfonamide deriva- tive of the formula (I) of the present invention and the acid addition salt thereof has the activity to inhibit a protein kinase, such as protein kinase C or myosin light chain kinase and, tere- fore, can be advantageously used as an active ingredient for a reagent for the treatment and prevention of asthma.
'invention porte sur un dérivé du benzothiazolesulfonamide représenté par la formule (I), ou un sel d'addition acide correspondant acceptable du point de vue pharmaceutique (voir fig. 1) (I), dans laquelle A représente un groupe alkylène inférieur non substitué ou substitué; R1 représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle inférieur; R2 et R3 représentent indépendamment l'un et l'autre un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle inférieur, ou sont liés l'un à l'autre pour former un groupe alkylène inférieur non substitué ou substitué; et R4 représente un atome d'hydrogène, un groupe alkyle inférieur, un groupe amidino ou un groupe alkyle inférieur substitué par un groupe phényle, dans lequel le groupe alkyle inférieur est substitué ou non substitué et le groupe phényle est non substitué ou substitué par un groupe alkyle inférieur, un groupe alkoxy inférieur, un atome d'halogène ou un groupe méthylènedioxy; elle décrit aussi une méthode de préparation de ce dérivé et une composition pharmaceutique comprenant ce dérivé. Chaque dérivé du benzothiazolesulfonamide présentant la formule (I), décrit dans la présente invention, et son sel d'addition acide correspondant permettent d'inhiber une protéine-kinase, comme la protéine-kinase C ou la kinase des chaînes légères de la myosine, et peuvent donc être utilisés avantageusement comme ingrédient actif d'un médicament servant au traitement et à la prévention de l'asthme.
