Disclosed are benztropine analogs having the formula (I) in which Ar is a C6- C20 monocyclic aryl group or a C10-C20 bicyclic aryl group or a heteroaryl, heterocyclic, or arylheterocyclic group having 2 to 12 carbon atoms and one or more heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of N, O, S, P, and any combination thereof; m = 1 to 5; n = 1 to 3; and R1 to R4 are as described in the specification; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof; pharmaceutical compositions and use thereof, e.g., in treating mental disorders.

L'invention concerne des analogues de benztropine possédant la formule (I), dans laquelle Ar représente un groupe aryle monocyclique C6-C20 ou un groupe aryle bicyclique C10-C20 ou un groupe hétéroaryle ou un groupe hétérocyclique ou un groupe arylhétérocyclique possédant entre 2 et 12 atomes de carbone et au moins un hétéroatome sélectionné parmi le groupe comprenant N, O, S, P et toute combinaison associée, m est égal à un nombre compris entre 1 et 5, n est égal à un nombre compris entre 1 et 3, et R1 à R4 sont tels que décrits dans la revendication. Cette invention peut aussi avoir pour objet un solvate ou sel acceptable pharmaceutiquement, des compositions pharmaceutiques et leur utilisation, par exemple, dans le traitement de troubles mentaux.
