ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A composite window pane with its face divided into a plurality of lites by a lead came that is adhesively secured to the window pane, wherein some of the lites are of a laminated con- struction and bevelled at their edges to give the appearance of a lite section formed from a single piece of laminated glass. The method of assembly is to first premount the came on spline on a table, solder the joint, press the came to straighten it, remove it from the table, apply the adhesive and then secure it to the glass.
