A beverage dispensing apparatus consists of a housing incorporating a heat exchanger for cooling the housing, with a housing having a suitable interior configuration for housing one or more beverage canisters. One or more beverage dispensing taps are mounted to the exterior of the housing. Gas delivery conduits permit the delivery of a pressuring gas from an external gas source, into the beverage canisters within the interior of the housing for pressurizing the canisters. Pressurizing gas may both carbonate the beverage and provide sufficient pressure for delivery of the beverage through the taps.
