ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE A beverage warmer assembly comprising a support having an electrically heated surface on which a beverage container such as a cup may rest, the container mounting a magnet which closes a normally open reed switch in the heater circuit on the support only when the container is so oriented that the switch is in the magnetic field.
